Dr. Eurydice Stanley is an International Speaker, Author, Trainer, fourth generation FAMU Rattler and founder of Amused Media & Productions LLC, a training and development company that provides “Inspired Communications for Amplified Living.” She has more than 30 years of experience providing training for leaders, many of whom served at the highest levels of the Department of Defense.  She specializes in leadership, diversity, human relations, addictions awareness, and leveraging personality in teambuilding.

Dr. Eurydice’s training career began when she served as a Senior Instructor at the premiere residential Diversity and human relations training facility for the Department of Defense, the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI). While there, she made countless presentations, conducted training, researched diversity topics, published articles, and traveled around the world presenting a myriad of training topics such as Socialization, Diversity, Racism, and Communicating Across Differences. It was the best assignment of her career, providing her the opportunity to present in countless locations across the United States as well as South Africa, Panama, and several locations throughout Europe.

A prolific writer, Dr. Eurydice has published more than 100 articles and written/coauthored 6 books. One of her award-winning works is the autobiography of Civil Rights Icon Elizabeth Eckford of the Little Rock Nine titled The Worst First Day: Bullied While Desegregating Little Rock Central High, written with Eckford and her daughter, Grace Stanley, a fifth generation Rattler currently attending Florida A & M University. Three of her titles are poetry books which capture her love for her children while reflecting God’s love for His people and the remaining two titles are projects that she coauthored which provide leadership and empowerment strategies for women.

Dr. Stanley is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel and has received numerous awards for excellence in human resources management, diversity, public affairs, and education, to include the Defense Distinguished Meritorious Medal. Her formal education consists of Florida A & M University (B.S.), University of Minnesota (MAIR) and Louisiana Baptist University (PhD), but she considers her true-life education to have occurred when she lost her three beloved brothers unexpectedly within three years of one another. Surviving that experience and finding the will to thrive again made her want to help others find the “Strength to Transform” their lives. After years of mourning, Dr. Eurydice took the initiative to transform her own life, and now helps others do the same.

It is a true joy for Dr. Eurydice to participate in her first TEDX at FAMU, the university that provided the foundation for her success and first exposed her to the concept of mentorship. She hopes to encourage one million students to become “Legacy Minded” and actively seek out a mentor. While at FAMU, Dr. Eurydice was very active, serving as Senior Class President, Queen of Orange and Green, Miss Junior Attendant and Miss Army ROTC. She was inducted into several honor societies and participated in many organizations to include pledging the Beta Alpha chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she is a life member, as well as being a life member of the FAMU Alumni Association. She considers attending FAMU to be one of the best decisions in her life and is establishing the Mitchell/Stephens FAMU Army ROTC endowment in honor of her Grandmother Emmarhaye with her father, LTC (Ret.) Quewanncoii Stephens Sr. Dr. Eurydice is Mommy to two of the most precious beings on this earth, daughter Grace and son Christian. They remain her “why” and serve as her muses in this thing called life.
