LaTasha Briscoe is the wife of her high school sweetheart, Owen and mother to Jasmyn and Cameron. LaTasha is a creative that loves to write poetry and design. LaTasha is the owner and Creative Director of LB Innovations Events, a full-service event planning and design firm. LB Innovations is responsible for over 100 weddings, corporate functions and events with purpose annually. The passion for events has trickled into her love of giving back and contributing to worthy causes. Through LB Innovations, LaTasha is able to further her passion of service through outreach. LaTasha also serves as a Creative Strategist to entrepreneurs looking to create, grow or relaunch their small business. Additionally, she is the Brand Manager of All Year Gear, her son’s business in which he uses his platform to create and motivate youth and young adults through apparel, speaking and social influence.
In the community, LaTasha is a faithful member of her beloved sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated in which she currently serves the Tau Delta Zeta Chapter on various committees and has served as Second Vice President to a former chapter. LaTasha serves the Commission for Women, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and Federally Employed Women (FEW), where she is currently serving as the President for the FEW NW DC Chapter as well as Director of Community Outreach for the FEW DC Metro Region. LaTasha was recently appointed as the Director of Fundraising and Programs for the Phenomenal Young Women Incorporated and Director of Fundraising of the Hope for Pink Foundation.
