In the 18 months leading up to her retirement, she woke up one morning paralyzed from the neck down triggered health issues triggered by stress and depression. She almost succumbed to the medical communities view that she would never work again. But the indomitable spirit within Toni could not be extinguished. Motivated by the needs of others, she embarked on a transformative mission to regain strength, focus, faith, and family.
Battling three autoimmune diseases and the impact of environmental factors on her health, Toni embarked on a mission to minimize medication and harness the healing power of a positive mindset and nature. Her unwavering faith and commitment led her to start a successful home improvement business alongside her husband and attain a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design.

Toni is a prominent community leader in Hampton, Virginia, with a record of service on multiple boards. She's been the President of the York/Poquoson Social Services Board, served at the Lackey Free Clinic, and played a crucial role in the BNI networking organization, the local Social Butterflies Foundation and Operation Restore Oral Health. She holds the distinction of being the first African American female President of the York County Chamber of Commerce in 2020, reaffirming her dedication to serving and promoting businesses.
As an instructor and trainer with exceptional speaking skills, Toni has trained professionals and managers in various aspects of job performance and professional development. Her extensive skills range from management and planning to project coordination, budget control, and network management. She's a bridge between the military and civilian communities, known for her astute liaison capabilities.
Toni holds CCAF Degrees in Telecommunications Management and Education and Training Management. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University in Adult Workforce Education and Development, culminating in a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University.
