Maria Davila is a devoted missionary whose profound commitment to alleviating the suffering of disaster-affected communities has driven her for the past five years. Her humanitarian journey began in 2016 with mission trips to Haiti, followed by a significant personal setback in 2018 due to a car accident. Undeterred, Maria led a mission to Puerto Rico in response to Hurricane Maria in 2018, providing medical care and spiritual support. 2019 she founded Healthy Souls International; Inc. after Hurricane Dorian devastated the Bahamas. Despite silently enduring her own challenges, including homelessness, Maria tirelessly responded to crises, earning her the title of Hometown Hero of the Year in 2020. Maria's extensive contributions include disaster relief, community service, educational accomplishments, and leadership recognition. Her work spans multiple spheres, from serving as a missionary to coaching entrepreneurs through Modern Day Disciple, LLC, and authoring books. With a commitment to personal growth and a vision to unite communities through her role on the National Day of Prayer board, Maria's life is a testament to resilience and unwavering faith, inspiring and leading communities to hope and transformation.
