Michelle Satchell

Life challenges you. Growing up poor and struggling to get by challenges you. Having a speech impairment challenges you. Being raised in a home surrounded by alcohol, drugs, and abuse challenges you. Being a wife, mom, and ambitious working woman is challenging. Michele Satchell has been overcoming challenges all her life. Her relentless drive and ambition made her a pioneer and pushed her to become a high-achieving leader in the federal government with a seat at the boardroom table dominated by males, having a positive influence and impact. She was a trusted senior advisor to senior executives, Presidential appointees, and the former Treasurer of the United States of America. She was uniquely positioned to help plan and coordinate the President Obama medal and presentation ceremony held at the White House. She also managed an organization-wide Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity program and mentored diverse high school and college interns. She distinctively served 31 years in the federal government which began with her being in a summer program for low-income families and working in a stay-in-school program while in college. During her tenure, she used her voice and magnetic personality to connect America to coins, most notably the first coin in our nation’s history featuring Lady Liberty as a black woman.

In 2019, Michele took a leap of faith and retired early from her six-figure career and is now pursuing her calling. As a speaker, coach, and trainer, Michele activates individuals to shift their mindsets and take action to live the lives they desire and deserve without sacrificing what matters most. She is a strong believer that when you change your thoughts you can change your world – a mindset shift that was a game-changer in her personal and professional life.

In 2020, Michele launched Michele Satchell Enterprises, LLC. She leverages her unique experiences gained in the workplace and life to help individuals, teams, and organizations evolve to reach their highest potential. She is energetic, down-to-earth, relatable, and able to connect with others from diverse backgrounds uniquely and thoughtfully. She meets people where they are and helps them get to where they want to be.

Michele has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and received numerous awards as a former public servant, including the Salute to Women Award (the equivalent of Woman of the Year) highlighting leadership, achievements, and dedicated service.

She is living life to the fullest and is currently working on her first book and signature course. Michele is a woman of faith, devoted wife, mom, and grandma, and resides in Waldorf, Maryland with her loving and supportive family.
